Back in the day, there were “automatic record changers” that could drop one record after another. My pop’s table you do this. If your sides were sequenced properly you could listen to sides 1-3 straight through. Flip and re-stack, then dig in for sides 4-6. Plenty of older, live albums came this way. I take it as a nod to the best live albums of a bygone era. Watch this.... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GuoFW2yAD7g
And yes my fucking lp has ticks at the start of Dance Yrslf :(

£72.75 currently on Amazon a fair price considering what the original was going for

Received my copy today. But does anyone know why the separated sides A B C D etc on separate records compared to just A & B being on the same record? bit odd, any one else thought the same?

Is there any difference in audio quality between the US and European pressings?

Fun fact: on the actual record, Dance Yrself Clean is misspelled as "Dance Yourself Clean".

According to Many sources (such as Piccadilly Records, Rough Trade & Many Others...), The Long Goodbye will be getting a repress, aimed to release on the 16th of June. I'm not sure if this as well will be limited, but we'll see.

I managed to find a copy for Sale via amazon.co.uk, it arrived without a RSD sticker, but it did have a holographic warner sticker in it's place.

I checked the web to buy a copy every hour for days as i live hundreds of kilometres from any record stores, some popped up and there was 5 left, after i finished checkout there was one, two minutes later they were all gone. Can anyone make proper sense of this ? Is mine not worth as much without the RSD sticker ? Are they going to sell more of these box sets and if so will they be in different packaging ?

I want to open it and listen to it but i am scared to, if i can't get another copy again to keep for the future to open when i've worn out the copy i have. I like to have a listen copy and a sealed to listen to in 20 years copy of my favourite albums.....
