Picked this version up at my local record store for $30. I am shocked at the quality of this pressing. Absolutely zero surface noise and dynamic as hell! I’ve listened to this record on CD and streaming hundreds of times and feel like I’m experiencing it for the first time.

the first record i ever owned. possibly the best too :P
And, oh! Maybe mother told you true
And there'll always be somebody there for you
And you'll never be alone
But maybe she's wrong and maybe I'm right
And just maybe she's wrong
Maybe she's wrong and maybe I'm right
And if so, here's this song -
This pressing makes me want to throw out every other piece of mediocre vinyl I own. It’s THAT good. It really makes me the reason I got into collecting in the first place: THAT sound. You can listen to this album hundreds of times on streaming but there is something completely different about the way this thing practically explodes off your turntable.

Scanning the barcode brings up this pressing and another. I can't quite pin down what the difference is between the two pressings. Anyone have any idea?

Edited 4 years agoPressing sounds amazing, little to 0 surface noise. Comes gatefolded that feels high quality and poster.

Edited 5 years agoThis pressing sounds great. Punchy, dynamic and noiseless. Definitely the best this album has sounded to my ears.
