Music-wise, in my book, LCD Soundsystem can do no wrong. Another great album of music.
Pressing-wise, in my book, LCD Soundsystem screws it up every time. I've just come to expect an LCD Soundsystem LP is going to come with crackle on it. The music makes up for it, but still, frustrating. -
Edited one year agoSame as the below, my P USA etching is scratched out. But this seems to be the US pressing since I don’t have Sony Music in the back like the European copy. This sounds phenomenal like my other 2 LCD albums. Great dynamics and no surface noise. Great pressing!

the music extends to the runout groove so each side has a (probably unintentional?) lock groove
doesnt affect anything unless you happen to love the last 3 seconds of certain tracks here but it is kinda odd, I've never seen another record that was pressed like that -
My copy sounds INCREDIBLE the packaging is also really nice and has a cardboard feel that I really like. Woulda payed triple
-
Great album but I don’t like how this press has been made. There’s no fade-out or dissolve effect in the last tracks in every side of the records! The end of the grooves are locked.

Edited 4 years agoListening to this on a solid setup is an experience. And a damn good one, at that. My copy is awesome. Quiet, great mastering, and BASS. Room shattering bass. The kind of LP that will elevate your appreciation of the album
