I have the first UK pressing and an early CD . This is the most detail i have heard .. really great sound. First SACD i have played as well, impressed. -
Edited 4 months agoMOFI SACDs generally don’t have the chops to match their vinyl counterparts. This SACD, while detailed, lacks the gorgeous warm analogue sound of the vinyl, and the bass is nearly 50% less prominent than on the vinyl - to the detriment of the SACD. Only worth buying if you don’t want to swap sides of a vinyl record, every three tracks. The other option is to listen to the album at a lower volume using the loudness button - this audibly improves the listening experience, and brings it much closer to the sound of the vinyl pressing. -
Why is this a compromised Hybrid?
Nobody is buying this for the CD layer???
I'd rather the uncompressed Japanese Single layer SACD version. -
I think is the best remaster for sacd. Better from japanese (vertigo) sacd!!! and many vinyl edision . BRAVO MOFI!!!!
