My first time listening to a Kendrick Lamar album. I used to not really like his music and find his voice annoying. This album changed everything I thought of him. I believe this is a masterpiece and the storytelling in it is amazing.

Honestly this may be one of the quietest/muffled sounding records I've purchased in a while. I tend to stay away from big labels for this reason, but I just love this album so I went for it. There has to be a better copy than this.

That's Kendrick's Illmatic if you will.
The only criticism I have is regarding the bonus tracks. These are pretty mediocre except for The Recipe.
Vinyl is well pressed. Not cut off with sharp edges, flat, pressed in the middle and centered, punched holes are exactly the right size and vinyl has no surface noise.

Still don’t understand the hype about this album! Nothing close to the real classics from the 90’s maybe I am getting old 🙃

Great vinyl release! Perfect mix, crazy full wide-open sound on flat EQ. Slightly bummed my copy has two skips on the second disk (“Real”, “Black Boy Fly”). All in all, excellent album for any fan of quality hip-hop.
