Beach House – Depression Cherry

Quiet pressing—hardly any surface noise on my copy. Definitely not the flattest pressing in my collection, but it doesn't mess with the sound quality at all (that I've noticed at least). Sounds great imho.

the album is great but I don’t like the velvet cover because all of the song titles are rubbing off! I take good care of my records and they are in sleeves so I don’t think I’m going anything wrong.

Purchased at barnes and noble for a reasonable price (vinyl is inflated generally but $25 isn't as bad as some of the other pricing) listening repeatedly and have to agree with the other reviews, this is a shimmering flawless pressing. I was more of a Devotion queen but Depression Cherry is slowly becoming my favorite. The sound is both sparkling and filling; it shimmers yet still has body that is warm and satisfying. I don't have any other pressing to compare it to, but if you find it pick it up. Packaging is gorgeous; inner sleeve has an interesting finish and is beautifully printed. The red vinyl and foil jacket is fitting and stunning. No pops for me, some very minor crackling that adds to the music box warmth feel. Obsessed

Yep, brand new copy came out with scratches all over it. Bit of a let down.

Good bit of pops on some quieter songs. My record is also slightly warped. Vinyl looked far from pristine when opening. Still sounds good though

Just got a copy second hand that was well cared for, this pressing honestly sounds really clean. Some pops but nothing too noisy about anything here.

Packaging is solid, yet simple and the vinyl itself is absolutely stellar with a soundscape that fills the room with its dreamy landscape. Cool colour and it's perfectly flat!

I don’t get the complaints, perfect copy here. No scuffs, dead quiet, great dynamics.

Just got this from urban outfitters. Very nice pressing, the color looks great and goes well with the album art. No pops or defects for me whatsoever

Amazing album would recommend buying if you have the money
