The pressing was very good in my opinion. No skips and almost no surface noise whatsoever. An album that has meant quite a bit to me so im pretty happy that everything checks out good with it.

Very chill enjoyable album. Good pressing and production. Matrix etching is as described above in indicators.

Pro-tip: keep the red velvet album cover in a 12 inch protective record cover, put the LP into a static resistant sleeve, and slide it in behind the album cover. This allows you to not have to touch the cover at all, while having easy access to the LP.

Q: Anyone know the re-release date on this one?

The record itself sounds fantastic, crystal clear and full of life, with a warm rich detailed sound and gentle punch to the drums that isn’t overwhelming or underwhelming. My Disc is perfectly flat despite being shipped at the bottom of a box full of other stuff. My copy has a lot of strange marks on the vinyl that look like fingerprints but none of them effect playback. Had the same thing with my Thank Your Lucky Stars vinyl. The felt packaging feels really nice but it wasn’t the smartest decision considering it can get everywhere and the text fades away REALLY easily, only my first time taking it out to play it and the “days” on days of candy is almost completely gone. And little bits of red fuzz get everywhere, but luckily it comes with a protector sleeve (no doubt due to complaints of the cover getting red fuzz everywhere) and to avoid getting fuzz on the record I take the inner sleeve out then wipe my hands before getting the actual disc out. Overall I’d give this five stars because the vinyl itself sounds incredible but the red fuzz is contagious and the text can be wiped off simply by the brush of a thumb. I may have to find some way to paint over it with something that will actually stay. But yeah great pressing but not the most well designed packaging.

my copy did not come with a card. not a huge deal to me, but just wanted to put it out there. no "thank your lucky stars" etched into runout of side 1, but it does have "she's a fire in the night" etched into side 2.

This is a good pressing, dont get me wrong but the felt packaging? A nice idea but the white lettering has faded off almost immediately on arrival. Very fragile. 5 stars for the music, 3 stars for the packaging.

Was expecting the worst, being new vinyl and how too much noise can ruin this type of album. But this is really sounding great. No hint of thinness, excess distortion or noise, even near the end of sides. Did a couple quick switches to the mp3s on the fly and it's more "immediate" than the digital. Sorry, I hate to use audiophile weirdo words but that's the only way I can describe.. like the digital is going through a slight filter or something. Cool soft cover too, at least until it gets beat up because this is going to get some regular play with me. One of the best recent vinyls I've taken a chance on.
