Arcade Fire – Reflektor

The audio sounds really compressed, not a great mastering at all. Hard to put on and just enjoy without feeling disappointed in the sound. If the record sounded half as good as the packaging looked they would really have something here

One of those albums that proves vinyl is superior to streaming. I agree with others, it's a quiet record, but that's how it was mixed. Sounds great on my system

I am not sure I can relate to other commenta about this one….my copy is good, certai ly not quite actually pretty loud (maybe slightly “compressed”, i would like to hear broader sounstage) but in no eay a bed pressing/recording - I like it

Finally have the original pressing in-hand and can confirm it only has Sonovox on the spine. The hype sticker and barcode are directly on the sleeve too, which is how they're pictured. I don't believe the cover shot belongs to this edition. That out of the way, both this and Merge's edition constantly get mixed-up because they have the same barcode. , even if both stickers are missing it's a US copy when Merge's info is on the spine. Both editions have different style barcode stickers as well.

This is probably my favourite album and it disapoints me so much that the record is unplayable. I bought it and Here Comes The Night Time, You Already Know, Joan of Arc and Awful Sound do the looping scratch sound and Porno skips all over the place.
Bought another copy and it has the same issues in the same songs.
Absolutely gutted that I can't buy a playable copy of one of my favourite records ever.

This has been restocked recently with the same barcode. Snagged it new at Criminal Records in Atlanta for $28.

My favorite album from them. This pressing looks and sounds fantastic. Great packaging as well. Its a good starting album of theirs. Wifes a huge fan and this came heavily recommended 👌

My copy (I think ordered directly from the band website) also includes a double CD copy of the album. Can’t see a corresponding entry though...
