Its a damn good follow up and a commendable 180 to regards to their previous sound. I just personally prefer the synthpop stylings of their debut. Still its just as catchy. Kind of afraid to explore the rest of Ministry given Al's vehement rejection of all things pop though, sad. :(

Wobble was thanked on the sleeve notes for helping Al get to grips with a new synthesiser. the 2 had planned a collaboration but - in Wobbles words, they "discovered a bottle of scotch" and the collab was forgotten :(

I love this album, pure dark industrial before the heavy metal influences started to creep in

Isle of Man (unlisted bonus track on some releases) has a percussion track that could have come off PiL's Flowers of Romance- and that's a good thing!

I haven't heard the Cabaret Voltaire album referred to be the reviewer but when I played twitch to a friend he also commented on the similarity

As another commenter has noted the record has similarities to Cabaret Voltaire's Micro-Phonies. Equally the segue Where You At Now/Crash and Burn/Twitch could just as easily have fitted on Keith Leblanc's Major Malfunction - which is perhaps not surprising considering the involvement of the same people.

Otherwise, very much a continuation from the late Wax Trax records such as Nature of Love, indeed All Day was from then.

This is a highly underrated and overlooked album by Ministry. Why more Industrial dance clubs don't play anything off this album is beyond me?!?! This is by far their danciest album and probably should've been more iconic to the industrial scene because of it's darker side which bridged the gap between poppy 80's and dark electronic music. I own a lot of albums from this era and it was definitely a breakthrough album. Nothing quite like it.
