Yeeeeeaaaaahhhhhhh, better than the best, that's my favorite Ministry's album
whats a pity that uncle Al do not plays now, like three dozen years ago he did -
My favorite Ministry album and one of my favorite albums period. It is one of those albums that is just unbelievable from the beginning to the end. The songs and the production are something else. Ahead of its time in a way, but you can spot influences, if you are familiar with Al's background of musical influence. Call me strange, but I think I've heard ZZ Top "Eliminator-Afterburner" era in "Twitch".
If you are into industrial/electronic/synth-pop, you must own this album. -
This album is a lot like the Revco "Big Sexy Land" album in many ways. But it also is when Al started to realize that Industrial is where he was headed for his career. I think this album is his best Ministry one next to "With Sympathy" and they couldn't be more different. Twitch is just a flat out masterpiece and I wish he had stayed with this sound a bit longer but he is a man that changes with every album. "The land of rape and Honey" had some similarities but all and all this album is the essence of Ministry to me and will always be. Greatness and complex beats intertwined with grating vocals at it's best. Thank you Al for this classic.
