I got an unplayed looking one of these for 50p at a record fair a couple of months ago. I hadn't seen the dealer who had it for about 20 years but I ed him. He said it was old shop stock he had sat around the house that he was clearing out cheap just to get rid of it. It's only in a white paper sleeve but I'm very happy with it. I also got the UK pressing that came with the LP in a charity shop about a year ago with the picture cover for £1.00. I've been very lucky with this one. Great single.

Early El Dorado sleeves vary, some not listed here yet. Mine is b/w pic on front with orange logo, the back is printed b/w and deep turquoise, so a 3-col print job! (USA pressing) I have similar colours but PO address and pink logo (signed by Cindy!) (USA pressing)

1978 7" versions of both tracks. To date (a mere 40 years later) not to be found ANYWHERE else!

I appear to have the blue sleeve version but 'the B-52's ' text is pink on a b/w picture.

Here is an excerpt from "Making It Up As You Go: How DB Recs Chronicled The South In The '80s" by Jeff Clark in the August 2003 issue of Stomp and Stammer (vol. 8, no. 10): "A thousand copies of 'Rock Lobster' b/w '52 Girls' were pressed and issued in April [1978]. Another thousand soon followed. Then three batches of 5,000 each that were sold out as soon as they were pressed. [Danny] Beard could have done more, but the B-52's signed to Warner Bros. and relocated to New York, where they were getting strong response."
