It's a nice pressing and worth the price. I'd pay up to £40 for it, although I paid £25. It's not as nice as an original but still great. I really don't care about the coloured vinyl part. It's really nicely done, though. My only criticisms are that it doesn't come with a poly lined sleeve and it needed a clean. Other than that, it's a nice version.

This pressing has one of my favorite color mixes, with it being pure eye-candy to look at. Although, the pressing quality is more rough on this one when compared to Mo-Fi and CD releases. It can sound flat, weak, and crumby at some parts, but it still manages to hold up throughout. I would recommend getting the Mo-Fi if you care about quality, but if the color scheme and chance of getting a nicer copy interest you enough, get this. 80/100

I think it's tough to compare this to the MoFi version for sound quality. You are not really comparing the same recording as the MoFi is a different version of the album. It's considered the "rough mix" and is not quite the same release.
This one sounds nice on my system but I don't have anything other than the MoFi and cd releases to compare it too

I compared this issue with the 5 other editions I have in my collection: EU 1st 1987, EU 2nd 1987, Japan 1988, US MoFi 2013, EU Remaster 2015. This is by far the weakest sounding issue, both in of sound and pressing quality. Sounds thin, lifeless and compressed. The japanese pressing remains the holy grail, followed by the EU originals. The MoFi version doesn’t sound much better than this one.

If you’ve even bothered to ponder to even consider picking up this reissue, just know this first:
• sure, that black & gray marble is cool as hell. but there are plenty of other albums with the same color swirl you can get instead, because…
• guess what, this reissue was pressed at GZ. and while their pressing quality is solid, it’s the “one size fits all” approach to their in-house mastering process (it dulls those crisp drum sounds, and cuts the groove off the low end). It’s basically lithium for album mixes—and it’s represented in the lacquer plates that are used to press all the records.
• but you know who won’t inject your fave albums with lithium? I’ll tell you who…MOBILE FIDELITY—that’s who.
• and what’s more, you can buy yourself one of them audiophile-grade bad boys for the same price as this cash grab is selling for.
• or you can always hunt down an OG press from ‘87, I’d imagine they sound nice & punchy too.
that is all! -
The recording sounds a little harsh compared to my 1987 original, and Pat has almost been erased from the front cover compared to the original's. I'm sure Mr. E had nothing to do with that.
