There are times where it sounds like Ian Curtis is in my living room performing; THATS how clear it sounds. Beautiful crisp pressing, can’t recommend it enough.

Couldn't resist picking this up with the reverse color cover and the ruby red vinyl... however, it would have been nice if it had come without being seam split from poor shipping practices... definitely quieter than the contemporaneous black vinyl Optimal pressing of "Closer"... plus you hafta love the idea of something being "Limited to 30,000" copies...

Bought this from a bookstore shortly after its release, fantastic pressing. The price is a little high now, but I see why.

          Phenomenal pressing.
          No other words needed.
          RIP Curtis and Hannett.
          We needed so much more.

Extremely pleased with this pressing. Bought the 2015 repress with the textured sleeve and it’s flatter than plywood. This pressing brought out the most dynamic and overall best listening experience I’ve ever had with this album.

Sleeve is nice and textured, record is straight however not perfect. on my copy there is a good amount of pops on side B and actual visible and audible scratches on "I Nothing" (I bought it brand and new sealed and I noticed them as soon as I took the record out for the first time and inspected it visually). There's also a good amount of sibilance on the inner grooves - I use an ortofon 30 stylus which has so far dealt very well with that on all of my records except this one. If you just want a good sounding record then you're definitely better off looking elsewhere. I haven't experienced the aforementioned skipping however my turntable has a linear tracking tonearm so it may be a bit more resistant to that.

Honestly this pressing is pretty decent. I guess I got lucky with the skipping issue cuz I did not experience it (also using an elliptical AT stylus). There is a bit of surface noise towards the middle of the album, but it’s so minimal that I barely notice. Pressing is gorgeous on translucent red. 5 stars from me in the quality department.

DON´T feed the sharks! There will always be people trying to make a quick buck or sell vinyl at exorbitant prices. Ignore them! Very soon such people will disappear from DISCOGS since nobody buys from them.
