Physically smooth vinyl, before that there was a black version - very crooked. Minimum noise, no clicks. Nice translucent color. The album itself is gorgeous! an excellent addition to the collection.
Физически ровный винил, до этого была черная версия - очень кривая пластинка. Минимум шума, сильных щелчков нет. Приятный полупрозрачный цвет. Сам по себе альбом шикарный! отличное пополнение коллекции. Рекомендую! -
Really flat pressing, the dynamics are not terribly pronounced. Odd mix, but this is my favorite version of this vinyl. Gives me vintage bar vibes, I love it.

... I am very pleased that it is not double lp, I think any material that lasts less than 60 min. must stand on one record. The sound is quite ok. -
Cool Sounds , riffs, baselines and drums.
No noise, no pops, no crackles.
Oh wait.... it's the CD version...🤗 -
I got lucky; my vinyl is quite thick and plays noise free. The recording is slightly small in scale and grey/grainy in the mids, but the bass is powerful. More importantly, I think that this is a good record; Gojira have still got it. There's one hit after another, but pleasing variation and experimentation, plus a flow to the album. In other words, a well-balanced record. Excellent effort.

Edited 3 years agoI have to echo a lot of the reviews already. This pressing doesn't sound good. The sound is flat, super compressed, zero dynamic range, and also EQ'd to death. Plus it didn't come with a code. Sounds better on Spotify.
Also, my copy says "Manufactured in Canada" on the labels, not Czech Republic.

Obiously a cheap pressing but I must say that the sound is good to my ears…probably got lucky with this one.

Edited 4 years agoHow is it possible that gojira agreed to release such a crappy pressing? It is just a shame. They should have delayed the release and wait for the factories not to be overwelhmed as they are now .

Mine arrived warped (middle of the record is higher than the sides), and the vinyl is quite flimsy. Sounds pretty good besides a bit of surface noise that's more noticable on side B. The inside sleeve is cheap as well.

I listened this album on mp3 many times while waiting for my vinyl. Now I have listened to vinyl on monitors and through headphones. The sound is not as clear and detailed as I expected. But it's still better than mp3. Instruments can be distinguished. The bass is exactly as much as you need. The vocals are well read. It could be better, but at least I do not regret that I bought this vinyl.
