I absolutely love this pressing of Summerteeth. It’s a highlight of the vinyl medium for indie rock and Wilco lovers. My copy sounds detailed and rich, and arrived flat and clean. Wilco put a lot of care into these re-releases. I prefer the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot box set more, but I listen to Summerteeth often since I’m less familiar with the songs compared to YHF.

Edited one month agoAfter spending the evening reading about the horrible issues of non-fill and stitching (especially the former) in new pressings (I have to return 1/4-1/3 of my purchases), I'm amazed that the NM used box that I purchased and received today consists of 10 flawless sides. I'm always leery of buying box sets, as one or two of the records will have problems. Not this one. Sounds fantastic and an essential purchase for those of us who rank it among Wilco's best. It's a shame they didn't include the lyric sleeves as on the original 2009 vinyl release.

Excellent package, but I would've preferred to have the live in Boulder 1999 show in this vinyl set (that concert is very strong, but is only on the CD, inexplicably) than the record store show (which begins out of tune; band complains about monitors; etc.) here on vinyl. It may have been a space consideration?

Such an excellent box set and amazing value. Every LP included has amazing material from two men at an absolute creative peak.
I know YHF is the favourite and even I prefer it from time to time. But you cannot deny how adventurous, indulgent yet disciplined this record is.
Liner notes are insightful and the packaging is beautiful (looks the shiz on my shelf).
I've never owned another copy of the original album on vinyl to compare to, but sounds crisp, clean and well balanced to my ears with the warmth that we love this format for. Certainly superior to the more recent YHF reissue of 2022.
An essential release and still easy to get a hold of at retail price. Get in while you can. -
this vinyl goes above and beyond. 5 vinyl's, great sound quality, good packaging, and overall an amazing album and is totally worth the price.

Measured the dynamic range on this set. The original album came out not much different than the previous release. The rest of the set fared much better.
