Seventh studio album by Canadian rock band Rush.
The original cover depicted the famous incorrect headline "Dewey Defeats Truman" on a newspaper in the bottom left corner.
However, the Chicago Tribune (the paper that originally published the error) pressured the band to remove the headline. Some versions appear altered with either "Dewei Defeats Truman" or whited-out completely.
The billboards in the distance (mid-right) originally read "Coca-Cola." However, the cola company objected to the use of their logo and the cover was changed to display the band names in a similar typestyle to the original logo.
Trivia: The woman on the cover of this album is model Paula Turnbull. Contrary to rumor, the guy waving in the background on the cover is not one of the of Rush, it's actually Hugh Syme, the art director of the album (and also who played piano on "Different Strings").

packaging is nice but obviously quite cheap, main album is housed in a rather flimsy and cheap sleeve yet the live album portion is packaged in heavy cardboard that is far too tight for the discs to be safe. Otherwise, solid pressing but with some fudge noise during the really loud portions

I love this album but this was very disappointing! Terrible quality very noisy vinyl, I would not recommend this version to my worst enemy

Just picked one of these up myself and am quite happy with it. Very tight from top to bottom. Crisp and clear in the mids to the high end and thick enough to be powerful on the low end. -

What is the connection with "Island Def Jam Music Group" under Phonographic Copyright? It's on the album cover, just wondering why it wasn't "Phonogram, Inc." (early US pressings), "Anthem Entertainment", or "Mercury Records" like my other copies of this album? -

The record sounds great, the best I've heard this album sound on vinyl. The album sleeve reproduction quality on mine is inexcusably bad. Grainy, under-exposed, blurred, and lacking details that are clearly on the album cover but are difficult to make out on the MoFi album cover. As examples, "CROSS HERE" on the "WALK" sign is illegible. The wood pile in the foreground is so dark you can't see the individual pieces of wood. I'm glad I grabbed a copy, but MoFi let us all down on the album sleeve reproduction quality. A damn shame to think someone looked at this, said "this is good" and signed off on it for production...
