Edited 6 days agoget an OG cd rather than a modern reissue
in-person, the printing on this is ass. especially the tray that's faded to where it's barely visable and looks like it's soruced from a photocopy of a gif! -
Not sure about this one. Very clean, quiet pressing but the mastering is really lacking presence and bottom end. This is not the VMP of Ready to Die. -
What an album, pretty impressive pressing. I sometimes feel iffy picking up a record from Target, but this does not have any pops or distortion to it, the silver looks great. It is NOT a gatefold, so this being 3LPs, that was kind of disappointing. But the sound quality is A1

Got this as a gift. Nice packaging etc
In of quality I played it next to my OG USA pressing of life after death and sounded neck/neck or even better to me.
The price that it goes for though it’s quite expensive. But as a collector it’s dope. -
My record 3 is translucent - just notice it by giving it a little spin today: same out there? -
My copy sounds great. I saw another review about the cleanliness of this pressing, I totally concur. My records were so clean out of the shrink they looked washed. I'm also very impressed how quiet they are. I dropped the needle and couldn't believe there was almost no noise floor on my copy. -
so upon hearing this version, I really thought it was going to be different since track 10 (nasty boy) is omitted from this release. which makes sense since we all know what the song is about. that being said, they could have just kept it. hypnotize is still filled with derogatory lyrics. which doesn’t makes sense because the promo song released, omitted various curse words. notorious thugs is also edited slightly different. it seems they used the chorus or ending of the song to replace certain sections of the explicit lyrics and on the album clean version, they went back and used the actual instrumental. everything else sounds the same as it does on the clean edited album. -
