A remarkable piece of lean haunting acoustic guitar driven soul work reflecting on the universality of our human condition. Precursor to "The Ghost of Tom Joad" & “Devils and Dust”.
Gotta be in the right mood but it gets better & better as one ages.

Just bought this!!! Great quiet pressing!!! Very HAPPY!!! Something about the Japanese OBI strips, makes these records really interesting.

Heartfelt songs, recorded as simplistic as one can. Best part of the record is the experience. My pressing sounds true to the original recording. Highly recommended

My remastered copy matches up to point, then side A has [MPO logo] 24329764 stamped, then another 'MPO' but etched. Must be a later version. No code in this one.

Mine also matches this release exactly, except for no RSD sticker/code. Maybe leftovers repackaged? Anyway, a great sounding pressing, nice and quiet which suits this album perfectly. Maybe slightly low on dynamics but there is nothing really required for that on this album.

I am a little perplexed. My barcode matches this entry, but it came with a code from "We Are Vinyl". The barcode sticker adhered to the shrink (on the back) states "VINYL MADE IN ". This was purchased at Barnes & Noble in the US on 1/29/24. Should this be a separate entry?

Sounds excellent to my ears. So glad to own my favorite Bruce album in this fun package.

I stole this from my dad’s Columbia Record Club collection from the 80s, and it is pristine, crisp and SO good. I purchased VMP’s 30th Anniversary edition of this album as a backup but always gravitate toward the original because it sounds so.damn.good.

My runouts match exactly, as does the text of the primary hype sticker, but no RSD reference anywhere and no code card included. Also, barcode on rear cover ends in 71 rather than 73.
