We are two of NYC's longest standing record stores - if you are in town please stop by either of our locations, in Greenpoint (242 Banker St. / Brooklyn) and the East Village (415 E. 12th St. / Manhattan) for 1000's of records that are not here on Discogs! LOCAL PICKUP AVAILABLE ONLY AT OUR QUEENS OFFICE:
By popular demand, we are now going to experiment with local pick up! If you mark your order for local pickup, we will have open hours from Mon-Fri 12-2 where you can stop by our Glendale location and pick up your order. Only employees are allowed inside the warehouse, so your order must be made and paid at least 24 hours in advance. This will give us time to pull the order and answer any questions beforehand. An employee will come outside and bring your purchase to you. There will be no wheeling and no dealing! Payment must be done through Discogs. We are a small office and try to run efficiently as possible, so if you have any questions, please send a message or [email protected].

Due to the high volume of orders and customer inquiries, we do not provide photos or answer playback questions for items that are less than $50.

We strive to list many records for sale here, and some listings may use the following shorthand

We have a $7.00 order minimum. It is our order minimum for a reason, we will not alter the prices of items.

We encourage customers to ask questions BEFORE placing an order. Once you've placed the order, you've committed to purchasing the item(s). Invoices will automatically default to unpaid with negative after 5 days - no exceptions. Additionally, we cannot confirm your items are available before they are paid for - please assume all items are available until we alert you otherwise.

***We will NOT combine orders once they have been paid for. Once you pay for your order we are unable to add items or merge additional orders; if you place and pay for two or more separate orders with us they will go out in separate packages and you will be charged for the additional postage. Please make sure your order is complete before you pay for it!***

We will NOT hold orders to be shipped at a later date than the 4-6 window in which orders are processed. This could cause your package to get lost in the shuffle and we do not want to risk that!

We process orders Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We're available to answer questions Monday through Friday of every week, barring holidays and other infrequent exceptions. We try to address legitimate questions in a timely manner, but it may take a day or two. Due to the high volume of orders and customer inquiries, we do not provide photos or answer playback questions for items that are less than $50. We don't respond to requests for discounts, though we consider reasonable offers on items with the "make offer" option enabled.

We aim to process orders 4-6 business days after we receive payment, though there may be slight delays during periods of high activity. Orders placed after business hours on Friday will usually be pulled the following Monday, and ship a day or two after. We are not Amazon!! please be patient and please be nice.

We ship records outside their covers and inside a preused/repurposed polybag, packed between at least two filler pads. If your record is sealed, and you would like us to open it and ship the record outside of the jacket to avoid seam splits, let us know ASAP after purchasing. We'll do our best to accommodate any reasonable packing instructions.

We provide tracking info with all orders. There are occasional delays in updates due to scanning issues with USPS, so we appreciate your patience after orders ship. “Package Acceptance Pending” means that our carrier picked up your package, and it is on its way to you. However, it may only receive a “delivery” scan with no other updated tracking information. While frustrating, this is not at all uncommon.

WE SHIP TO YOUR DISCOGS SHIPPING ADDRESS! IF YOU WANT IT SHIPPED TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET US KNOW ASAP! We're not responsible if it gets delivered to an address you no longer reside at, or because you had the wrong address listed!

We are happy to upgrade shipping at an additional cost, please message us about this BEFORE paying for your order and we can update the shipping cost on the invoice to reflect the new shipping option.

***DOMESTIC SHIPPING INFORMATION***
We offer a $6 (some outdated descriptions say $5, sorry) flat rate shipping fee for all US orders, no matter how large. We also currently offer free domestic shipping on all orders over $150.

We ship via USPS Media Mail with delivery confirmation included. Sorry, but we do not currently offer expedited shipping.

Media Mail usually takes between 5-7 days to arrive at its destination after a label is printed. However, sometimes it takes longer, and that's out of our hands. Refunds for lost packages will be CONSIDERED after 60 days from mailing dates.

*** INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION ***
TO ALL BUYERS OUTSIDE THE U.S.: PLEASE us regarding shipping costs on larger orders or box sets before paying.

We do not mark international packages as "gifts," and we denote the total amount of your order on the customs form. We also include the invoice on the outside of your package. No exceptions.

All orders over $400 are now subject to a higher rate and will be weighed and we will quote the actual cost to ship when you make the order.

We use international export shipping through Ascendia. This is MUCH cheaper than the current USPS rates.

If you would like UPS or USPS shipping, additional insurance on a package under $150, or signature upon delivery, please message us and we will invoice you accordingly.

Please note: Unfortunately, some international packages have taken up to 3 months to reach their destination. We will not offer refunds on packages that have not arrived until 90 days from shipping date.

Orders with a value of $150 over will be purchased with additional insurance. IN ORDER TO MAKE A CLAIM ON LOST INTERNATIONAL PACKAGES, WE NEED NOTICE WITHIN 90 DAYS THAT YOUR ORDER IS MISSING. After 120 days, we can not make a claim, and can not be held responsible for lost packages.

In the rare case of a refund, we will not be held responsible for covering initial or additional postage costs.

VAT info: Discogs automatically charges VAT fees. We include the invoice on the OUTSIDE of the package to avoid additional fees upon arrival. We are not responsible for taxes you may incur upon receipt of your package.

For overseas buyers who use U.S.-based freight / shipping services: We are responsible for safely delivering your purchase in the condition d to the address in your Discogs profile. Once the shipping company has the item(s) in their possession, they are then responsible for the safety and shipment of those items to their final destination. If you have issues with clearly damaged or mishandled packages, you must therefore the freight company to sort out compensation, as we are no longer responsible for that package. We are also not responsible for the condition of items if / when the freight service opens the original packaging in which we send your order.

***GRADING AND RETURNS***
GRADING
Grading records and describing them is a difficult thing we take very seriously. We strive to grade conservatively -- a typical NM on here will be a VG+ in our book. If there are any defects or blemishes present on the item, we take great care to note them in the listing.

Items rated less than VG are exactly that - not clean! Do not expect a return if a record you purchased in Poor, Fair, G, G+ condition is a poor playing copy! Generally records we post that are less than VG/VG+ criteria are especially rare items at deeply discounted prices.

Typically, we follow these grading criteria:
M = SEALED with no corner bends, etc.
NM = Super clean or SEALED with possible small non intrusive defects, (promo cut, light creasing, etc).
VG+ = An open and solid copy of a record. Generally speaking this is your average well taken care of used record. No loud marks, warps, skips. Any defect that may exist on the record would be small and superficial (paper scuffs, light shelfwear, minor creasing, a possible light pop, etc)
VG = A VG record typically is a decent play copy with a flaw at a small segment of record or part of cover, and/or or a noticeable amount of surface noise ETC.
G, F = A record typically in less than desirable shape. G , F records are only listed on special circumstances and all damage or wear is described in the description. Do not expect a clean copy if a record on our page is listed as less than VG

When we list sealed records, we assume the condition of the vinyl is Mint. We will open and inspect the record upon request from the buyer, but we do not accept returns on records that were shipped sealed.

Cassettes and CDs: We do not consider the condition of replaceable, generic jewel cases in our listings. The same is true for cassette cases.

RETURNS
We do not accept returns on items graded lower than VG. No exceptions.

Returns are considered on a case by case basis. We must receive the record in the condition it was sent. Generally, returns do not include cost of shipping.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, send us a message and we will do our best to remedy the issue.

Any complaints/issues with an item must be made within 30 days of receiving your order

We are a large operation with many moving parts and employees. We do our best to grade consistently and honestly. Mistakes certainly happen and there are many gray areas to grading records, we encourage you to order with confidence but patience never hurt anyone! Peace!!
