You pretty much couldn't deem PS I Love You as a collection of electronica of the "sentimental" kind, from a period on which Kid606 was well known for basically mashing walls of noise into broken techno dnb music, yet this is definitely a quieter output by the man nonetheless, though that doesnt make it any 'warmer' in any given way. Album cover and title being overly misleading.

Rhythms are often more straightforward, yes: some of these tracks could be considered fairly simple minimal techno-house with glitch elements. But at times the distorted electronics become -almost- unbearable, sometimes shapeless drones take the lead, some other times the sound manipulations are reminiscent of actual melodies, only for it all to explode into intense layers of distortion once again, out of nowhere. There's even some guitar pieces shuffled in between, chopped and distorted of course.

It's definitely an album that doesn't shy away from its own extents, sound-wise, done by someone who gave no shits and released stuff like Down with the Scene and the Soccergirl EP the same year: and if you think PS I Love you lies in a point between these two, you're wrong, because its something almost totally different. Now i wanna be a cowboy.
