Reviews
-
Excellent album, I just wish Bowie didn’t play guitar on it, it lacks that slick attack and better skill his previous and future guitar players all had.
The recording has a nice smooth bass and is well balanced. -
-
Sounds good, thank the press gods not so bad as 'Aladdin Sane', but it's still not as clear as a few other remasters.
-
Most of it sounds good, however I feel like there's something missing in the master here. The high-end doesn't feel right, although it still sounds great altogether. Not as good as other Bowie reissues, but still a cut above most
-
-
Expected it to sound as awesome as the reissue of 'Low' or even 'Young Americans' from the reviews, but sounds lifeless and has no energy to it compared to the same remaster on CD. No high ends at all and lacking in clarity.
-
Absolutely incredible, like all of the Parlophone reissues I've heard. Cannot recommend enough, Long Live The Duke!
-
-
Sound is great, compact and rich. Much better than "Station to Station".
Maybe it's work of different technicians. One young man full of enthusiasm and one deaf just before retirement.
