Flawless pressing. The locked groove at the end of side A blew me away, by far the coolest one I've ever heard -
Very minimal packaging with just a sleeve and disc, but the sound quality is fantastic! The cover is beautiful as well with the reflective triangle. -
I have been playing Splendor & Misery nonstop since I picked it up this weekend. Quality is beautiful. It’s an afrofuturist concept album about a slave who takes control of the interstellar cargo ship he was being transported on, primarily told from the perspective of the ship, who falls in love with him. They take their chances going into oblivion, not knowing if a planet with hospitable environment will ever be in reach. It’s definitely not as harsh noise as some as clippings other work so maybe some people won’t like that, but as a fan of clipping and sci-fi, I think it’s damn near perfect
