This album was my gateway towards appreciating the music of Pink Floyd as more than just my older brother's music. This is a fantastic album for a debut. Big sound!

I couldn’t believe how loud this record was when I played it after all these years! BIG sound on that LIANT chorus. Not a record that will be in heavy rotation for me, but it was nice to hear it again.

Haven't played this record in years, but it holds up pretty well. This pressing sounds nice, it's very rich and full in the low end, and mixed well. My copy sounds nice and quiet, didn't notice any surface noise.

There's some Pink Floyd assistance here, from David Gilmour co-producing, to him performing on a couple of songs, with Guy Pratt (bass player post Pink Floyd's Roger Waters era) to Andrew Jackson, who worked on engineering duties on Pink Floyd's 'The Wall' LP among others. Not a bad LP, very 80's sounding, but overall, not bad. Peter Buck from R.E.M. even assists on a song. Worth picking up if it's in the bargain bin.

Had no idea David Gilmour co-produced this album. Might have to pick up a copy.
