GLM, TIPSWAH, ICGIAA, Sue.... so I'd say all.
That band is so great too. Best he has have.
And he had a three Great combos 1972-2016...

Great album, but I'd reccomend getting the disc out of the thick PVC sleeve as soon as you can. Mine's been on the shelf for a few years, and when I pulled it out today it's absolutely covered in gunk. Sounds awful to play, noisy as hell, and gunked up my stylus after about 30 seconds.
It's getting a proper clean this week - hopefully that will save it! -

I stopped buying Bowie album after Lets Dance and regret that purchase. There is a lot of good Bowie but the quality of releases dropped after Scary Monsters. Lets Dance has 3-4 great songs but a weak album. I know all the subsequent albums but never felt they should be a vinyl purchase (I pick and choose a handful of songs). However Blackstar has some amazing songs on it and was this goodbye to the world. Not a great album but his last album with some great tunes. Blackstar and Lazarus are pure genius.

Bowie's final album; magical yet heartbreaking; I even love the jazz parts and I can't stand jazz normally. The vinyl quality is very robust, heavy and the sound bassy and rich. Love it.

Anybody know why the Celebrate pressing sells for 2-3x the MPO version, is it simply that less were made? Both are rated identically by Discogers.

Edited 9 years agoApparently here's the one for the vinyl edition with the 2015+2016 copyright information: https://discogs.sitiosdesbloqueados.info/David-Bowie--Blackstar/release/8049654

Edited 9 years agoWho did invent this 'alternative issue?' any real release-notes anywhere ? sellers are selling the 2nd press under this.. in the wrong place.. why don't add matrix variations under that one uk/eu 1st press ? that is the way it has always been done here.. look example neil young albums.. you can find lots of matrix variations under one release.. now this alternative release has a collector value for no reason
