One of the great artistic leaps in music history produced this life changing album. I agree with the others, this pressing is the one to have.

The A1/B1 UK pressing destroys the US Hollywood and Indianapolis pressings I once relied on. Jamerson's bass never sounded better. The Canadian Tamla/Motown pressing is also worth checkin' for.

This original UK A1/B1 pressing is so far superior to the USA original and beats all modern audiophile pressings that I heard. Dead quiet with phenomenal bass that is not over done. The vocals are perfectly balanced in the mix and can really hear into the music on this press. The packaging while not a gatefold is still beautiful with the squared textured sleeve that I find to be truly unique to late 60s and early 70s original UK sleeves. This is a landmark recording so do yourself a favor and seek this pressing out to add to your collection

First UK pressings with A1/B1 matrixes (rough label) mix is different to the slightly later press (smooth label) The texture on sleeve and quality of image on cover is different too. A1/B1 is superior in my opinion.
