Most serious collectors will only ever want the original first press, no matter how good the repress or bootlegs are.

Edited 14 years agoPearl Jam’s avocado album is widely regarded by critics as a return to form. Of course the fans know they've never lost it in the first place, but I have to say there is some truth in this statement because this is their most streamlined album since 'Vs'. There's little to be heard of the art-rock flourishes PJ is known for since 'Vitalogy'. Instead this disc is a very well balanced mix of energetic and ionate garage, classic and modern rock.
If you're one of the many who loved 'Ten' but disliked the rest than maybe you should check this out. Either way it's highly recommended and it proves that Pearl Jam is far from dead or exhausted, something a lot of people have been saying over the last decade or so. Album picks for me are 'World Wide Suicide', 'Unemployable', 'Army Reserve' and 'Inside Job'.
