Best dub album released ever. Just my humble opinion, of course. The mix is excellent, as is the mastering and pressing. Bilbo was one of the very best engineers ever, and this release shows this clearly.

This is an excellent dub lp, underrated maybe due to being very common and easy to find for many years, along with the Prince Jammy – Osbourne In Dub lp.
The highly rated lp - Jammies In Lion Dub Style - is almost the same lp as this, with very different mixes. Strangely the mixes on this 'Uhuru' lp are actually tougher and more complex.

one of my all-time favourite dub albums (next to King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown https://discogs.sitiosdesbloqueados.info/Black-Ark-Players-Black-Ark-In-Dub/master/205976): crisp drum & bass, wonderful flow, mellow tunes, great dub mixing with snippets from Michael Rose's vocals, the whole team and Jammy (still Prince then) at their best ! Wonder why it's so underrated.
