Edited 2 months agoPromo stamp copy. I like this better than the Bernie and I really like the Bernie. Haven’t heard good things about the MOFi vinyl but I only have the SACD of that which is decent if not top notch. This one has the “wow factor”. When I started listening to the first couple songs I stayed hyper focused and into it and continued to the end. Really enjoyed a couple songs I don’t love but sounded so good I was into them, too. I read other reviews that stated this did not have enough bottom end. Not the case with mine and my primary system which tends to be a little shy in producing bass so I would be able to tell the difference easily. As the prior reviewer stated very balanced and “crankable”, but also clearer that my others for this album. My go to copy now.

Wow! This is a well-balanced pressing which can be played loudly! The 2021 is flat and compressed by comparison. This is a fun, vibrant pressing.

Edited 3 years agoThis is a brilliant and creative album. It's like the perfect blend of Springsteen, Dylan and Lou Reed, except with really great guitar playing.
This pressing sounds excellent. Recommended. -
I bought a used copy and the first tracks of every side are scratched ... Lots of surface noise, but once the music kicks in, it's not a bid deal. For what I paid, it's fine ... I love this record! It reminds me of a very good friend of mine who ed. He loved the song 'Romeo and Juliet,' and so do I!
Roy Bittan from the E Street Band plays keyboards here. Love the E Street Band! -
