I already had a promo copy of the original 88 dmm mastered version. I wanted see how it compared and I'm sure glad I did. I already knew it would be good... an all analogue cut by Chris Bellman but I was truly floored by how damn good this is. The original is good but it's limited by the dmm cut. This lacquer version is so rich, vibrant, and organic sounding. It truly sounds like you're in studio with Stipe, Buck, Berry, and Mills. Get it now!

Had never heard this album through, and what a way to hear it for the first time! Quiet, rich, sounds great. Love it! -
Edited 4 months agoReally great pressing. Flat and quiet. Nice sonic range and crisp guitars. The songwriting, of course, is fantastic. Obtain and enjoy!

Edited 8 months agoBob Ludwig master, Chris Bellman lacquer. My copy is flat, centered, and quiet. Lively, transparent soundstage with lots of detail and slam. One of the better cut and pressed AAA alt rock LPs that any collector &/or audiophile should own.

absolutely worth it for the price. Sounds like a mofi pressing! Layered, textured, detailed, and good quality vinyl. Feels somewhere a little more than 180 grams. My only gripe is that it comes in a paper sleeve. -
Sounds great. Absolutely wretched thick plastic inner sleeve that scuffed up the LP. Loses points on that.
