I always thought the US Island CD of ACHTUNG BABY sounded good, and this double LP pressing sounds REALLY good. The rumble of the bass on "Mysterious Ways" is monstrous, instrumentation and vocals are clear and detailed, and the soundstage is vast and atmospheric. My copy plays nice and clean, with very little surface noise of note, save for a pop in the groove between A1/A2. Now , boys and girls...a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle... ♫ ♫ ♫ -

I don't have any other pressings to compare this to, but this sounds fantastic, especially if you're like me and you love heavy bass. The details were present and Bono's voice is clear. -
I found this to be very bass forward and not very present otherwise. Its' kind of awkward to listen to.

I have an European OG and this remaster. Definitely benefits from a two disc spread. Muscular dynamic soundstage. OG is still good but abit thin compared to this one. -
Another masterpiece level U2 album for me. It's the last U2 album I would put in this category. My copy sounds great. -
Outstanding release of this CLASSIC u2 album!!! Sounds tremendous, and the vinyl arrived In perfect condition! -
I just got a copy of this reissue from Amazon US. My copy has minor warping on the edges of both discs that does not affect play. Did anyone else have this issue? I wonder if this is from the factory or perhaps it resulted from being on the shelf for 5 years? Otherwise, its a great pressing and sounds amazing. -
This is so Good and I don't say that often. I wearing this out when it was first released. I had the CD back in the day. I've recently started listening to vinyl and this sounds so good. I think it's better than the original CD. Maybe it's my listening taste, or my system but this is thunderous and quiet. Very good packaging also, this is the way all vinyl should be packaged and sound so clean. Chills on more than one track
