Edited one year agoA fun, jazz fusion demo disc arranged and performed by Keiko Ota (who would later be part of the Japanese jazz fusion trio Cosmos) and composer/keyboardist Yayoi Hirabe.
Also featuring some talented session players from the States - Vinnie Colaiuta on drums (Frank Zappa, Joni Mitchell to Nik Kershaw, Bette Midler, Paul Young and Leonard Cohen), Steve Forman on percussion (Ray Manzarek, Loggins & Messina, Loggins & Messina, Badfinger, Art Garfunkel, Linda Ronstadt and The Beach Boys) and Nathan East on bass (Anita Baker, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, Quincy Jones, Eric Clapton, and Elton John).
Sound quality is audiophile grade as you'd expect from a release like this. Showcasing early digital recording technology.
