Hi. Wasn't It's Just Begun released as a single 45 on RCA Records back in the day? I do not see a copy here. I wonder why that is???

All around excellent funk album. Bottom end of the recording is not lost in the dynaflexiness of the pressing, thankfully.

Why is this Pressing (Rockaway) much more expensive and traded than the other two (Indianapolis / Hollywood)? Even so the Indianapolis Pressing is also valued higher than the Hollywood one?! Does this really have quality reasons or is it just that there is more from one than the other and the prices are more "random"? I have two copies but unfortunately both are pressed in Indianapolis, so i cant compare. Cheers

"Creation" (Prologue and Epilogue) contains arrangments made by a phillarmonic orchestra

I like this album’s music a lot, but I find the cover too frightening to look at (it actually gave me a nightmare once) and so for that reason I don’t play it very often in case I accidentally catch a glimpse of it when I am removing the LP from the sleeve. RCA Victor, will you please consider reissuing it with a different cover please? I know a lot of later Jimmy Castor albums have a much more fun and accessible cartoonish style of art, can you not use some of that art please instead? I am sure I can’t be the only one who gets the collywobbles from looking at this sleeve, it’s too weird!!

A great funk album, only let-down by "I promise to be true" (out of place, does not belong on this album), and "My Brightest Day" (ditto).

I know Dynaflex releases have a reputation for being crap but I have to say I have no problems with this pressing.

The horns & guitars sing, the bass is incredible, and the vocals sound clear.

Musically this is a classic funk record (just check the number of times it’s been sampled) that should be in your collection if you are a fan of the genre.
