          some missed notes.....,
1, EACH variant has a different bar code ( check the stickers on the sleeves)

2.Where does the word crystal come from? Clear vinyl is original virgin vinyl with no added pigments it is NOT coloured vinyl and its the cheapest pellets/granules to manufacture

          3. The marble colour was caused by an obvious hopper over run between trying white pellets/granules and then going for blue pellets/granules its hardly rocket science and an Optimal gaff was covered up white and blue marble!

4 LMD had three recording sessions 06/06, 04/09, 11/09 1962 this is the 04/09 Ringo on drums version (no tambourine) released 05/10 why this simple fact is not stated on the sleeve rear (Beatle-ites all know the 14/09 release did not originally come with red labels until the later 1982 reissues they are clearly visible as they state McCartney's MPL Communications division and mono on the labels the 1982 12" red labels release had both september 1962 versions/recordings) EMI in their stupidity caused quite a collectors confusion...The 11/09 Andy White version/recording should never have been assigned red Parlophone labels...EMI Every Mistake Imaginable.

IMHO The 04/09 "Ringo" version/recording is bland and flat the 11/09 "Andy White" version/recording has depth and guts...sadly this later version for now will not have a true commercial stereo mix.

Its a great shame that the powers that be at Apple/Calderstone did not ask for 4-pin dinked centers...but hey-ho, cant have it all.

This was the first of each pressing that I received. It's a very nice balance between the marble and the clear variants. I find that it's cut appropriately loud and with enough attention to detail that it does expand upon the digital release of the song. I still have yet to hear the 7" black release since mine has not arrived yet, but (as of today) this is my second favorite version behind the 12" red from Target.

Just got mine from the Beatles web site. It came in perfect /flat and noise free. The sound on this is amazing. Love it. BTW didnt they already release this version of Love Me Do on the Beatles Rarities album (Capitol)?

My version is a terrible pressing, 7" blue and white marbled, Side A - Now and Then is ok. Side B drags a lot and doesn't seems to get up to speed. No problems with other singles on my record player (Pro-Ject X1). will receive a replacement from the supplier. Hope the next one is better!

Update: they have sended me a replacement, good copy good quality!!

This is also the "independent" record stores version, as this was available from my retailer. And yes, this is a wonderful song to end their career.
