man this pressing sounds really good. bass is deep, and no surface noise at all. im honored to have this limited edition clear one.

I bought this for four bucks off the bleep store. Digital sounds flawless, although slightly Warped. Decent release, but Autechre kind of eclipsed the whopping fourteen minutes of Aphex by dropping eight hours of live insanity shortly after.

great ep and with the ar app it is just next level, love it.
But i gotta say, the plastic sleeve is really stupid. because the way the packaging works you need the sleeve for the vinyl to stay in place, since otherwise it can just fall out.
But then they use a cheap, disposable one with an annoying glued "flap" and to top it all off, it has a sticker on it that will prevent you from just using a different sleeve. yes you can just carefully take the sticker off and put it on a better sleeve, but for that price and otherwise good attention to detail it is weird that they saved money here.

I just ordered the clear version from Bleep for about $36. The store said “UK warehouse sold out, will not be re-pressed”. They still let me pay for it, so I’m assuming they mean there are still copies for sale, but there is officially no more backstock. I guess we’ll see!

I seem to be the only one here but mine came off-centered and warped. Many crackles present as well.

              From BLEEP:
"Clear vinyl - UK warehouse sold out. Will not be repressed."

Seems that the clear vinyl is now a collector's item and judging by the data on Discogs has/wants, probably no more than 2000 copies were pressed.
This makes it way more limited than the Collapse EP silver foil sleeve thingy.
As a wise man once said "there are limited records, but some records are more limited than others"...

I love everything about this. The clear vinyl sounds absolutely amazing. No clicks, pops, or noise. Superb master @ 45RPM that sounds powerful and dynamic. Great packaging and artwork. The music is nothing groundbreaking, especially for RDJ, but very enjoyable, short and sweet.

I love this EP. Aphex Twin is killing it as always. The tracks are amazing, the artwork and pressing are excellent. AA1 blows my mind

If any of you don't know, there's an AR app called YXBoZXh0d2lu made by Rich that does some pretty cool visualizers if you point your camera towards the album artwork. ESPECIALLY the fold out diorama :)

The price point is the main thing keeping me from being totally positive in my reception to this EP. It’s not egregious in the least, but it’s a bit steep for 14 minutes and change of music. That being said, I have no issues with the actual musical core of the EP, even if I wish there was more of it. Each of the four tracks is super efficient when it comes to giving the listener an engaging auditory experience. The catchy melodies that are most initially captivating elements give way to more ghastly and stark tones. Musically it really satisfies the trademark cocktail of emotions an Aphex song can stir within. But for me those drums are the star of this EP.
