Since I first listened to this tape and for years now after I've always been amazed at the bass on this release. Literally resonates the surrounding, unbelievable expirence. Sure the high-end is not exceptional, the transfer compressed the dynamic range somewhat, and this first generation cassette has no Dolby, but I still come back to it as my favourite copy of Tubular Bells. I have referenced the expirence against my other copies, including; UK original, Canadian/US original, and original UK 8-track cartridge. Nothing comes close to the expirence and deep bass. Call me crazy.
