Wow this really sounds great, audiophile quality for sure. If all VMP albums sound this good I'm going to have to check more of them out. Clear sounding with good instrument separation throughout. I just love these late 80s early 90s country albums cause most of them are short and sweet. Just like a Beatles album. Alan Jackson's third lp is a gem and just as good as his first two. Nice flat matte cover finish too replicating the CD.

My copy sounded fantastic that I just purchased from VMP. This one brings back some memories from growing up in the carolinas! 🤠

I'm a little disappointed in this pressing. I would say it is a 7/10. But if VMP is going to charge MFSL prices, they are going to get compared to MFSL quality, and this one isn't there. There is minor background noise throughout, which doesn't happen with MFSL. Is it a huge deal? No. If this was a $20 record I would say this is a good pressing. But it's $43. Overall, I would still recommend picking this up because this will always be the first vinyl pressing, and it is totally acceptable, but it's not incredible.

Some quiet surface noise even after cleaning (nothing out of the ordinary for GZ), but sonically sounds amazing. Ryan Smith did a great job once again. Beautiful jacket too. I've subscribed to the Country track since its inception and this is one of my favorite surprises so far. If only GZ did a better job it'd be a perfect 5 stars for me.

Absolutely fantastic sounding. Lively and sharp with great deep lows. Vmp didnt disappoint on this.

why are these so large that they cannot fit in the normal plastic sleeves? same issue with the Aaliyah and Gram Parsons records.

This was one of the first CD’s I owned, to have it on vinyl is like listening to it for the first time. So crisp, so clear, wow. Even better than I , I’ve got it turned up and it’s glorious. Don’t sleep on this.
