Edited 2 years ago- Are The Lost Recordings overpriced? - (*I now own five in the series) - Compared to Mobile Fidelity and Analogue Productions, that would be a definite "yes".
- How do they sound? - Excellent, but cut a little quiet, although this does seem to help with the sound dynamics.
- How would you describe Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli's take on Ravel: Concerto For Piano And Orchestra In G Major, M. 83? - in one word -"Magical"-, Fondamenta, Kevin Gray and Quality Record Pressings have come together and really captured the essence and soul of this performance and it will move you and likely spur an emotional response.
- Is this your favorite classical record? - (I own around 30 classical recordings mostly from Analogue Productions and Speakers Corner) - Although this performance is very short - one 45 rpm record, this is now, without a doubt, the best classical record I own and a new demonstration record.
Highly recommended! -
This is another The Lost Recordings release, which arrived to me with damaged cover. I don’t know, of I have bad luck with their products or they don’t know how to pack records for shipment. This time I have also problem with the pressing, because the record looks like a salad bowl. The sound is fantastic and I can only confirm, that their releases are sonicly perfect.

The performances are wonderful, the recording is top notch, packaging is great but value is sub par - $50 for less than 25 minutes of music. Wish I would have realized this beforehand. Nonetheless the music is sublime. Maybe in time I'll become reconciled.

I just received this today and I played the first side and it is quiet and production is excellent. The cough from the audience is clear like I was sitting right there at the concert. No 1102
