This is the pressing you want. I tired it against the later represses and the remastered version blows them away. This may never get a repress due to issues with big l’s estate, so it’s only going to increase in price. Get it while you can. Easily a top 25 all time hip hop album.

The sound quality is very clean on mine, I am really happy to have this LP. Great release and surely the best.
-
I bought this on release and was satisfied with the sound quality. No significant difference to the original 1995 cd
-
Really high quality repress , sounds unbelievable , just make sure to sleeve your records and get them out of the paper inners they come with
-
Buy this version, bubbles on the Record Surface and in some areas rough surface too. No quality control like before. Just terrible. buy 5 different albums, 4 albums have the same problems from Jive and traffic. You pay a high price but do not get a quality product. Very disappointed.

fantastic repressing of a criminally underrated hip hop gem! However for some reason my copy has a little white debris embedded into the grooves on C1 (street struck). The sound when the needle runs through it is equivalent to a scratched age on a record.
-
yep i agree to, it sounds great. vocals are really nice and crisp and verything else sounds great. finally a good reissue.
-
I agree there are no issues with the pressing, sounds great just listened to the entire album..no distortion, nice and clear no surface noise, clean from factory.
-
If anybody is worried about the sound quality here, don't be. This pressing is aces. None of that vocal distortion you get on so many rap releases. Essential album.
