I will agree with others when they say that this album is a little flat in areas. There’s definitely going to be some pops and clicks from the static and dust, but a quick brushing will help clear most of it up. Overall not a bad album. I think it looks beautiful and it doesn’t sound bad. Could be better, but isn’t bad. I’ll have to listen to my other original copies in order to make a comparison.

Edited 3 years agoIf the credits are true, this was done by an engineer at Mobile Fidelity. But then how does this sound “anemic” and “flat?” Did something else happen during pressing?
-
Why can't someone put runout info on the release page? It helps to know who we're dealing with, as far as mastering or plant info. Thanks!

Nothing special but sounds good. Piano is mixed a lil quieter but that's just with the remastering not the pressing. No popping or hissing. Over all worth the $25.

Anemic pressing. Don't buy it. It looks cool but that's it. You can get the same quality on the CD for way less, or even buy a used US copy which has way more punch. Also, the "exclusive print" in this one looks just like the one on the inner sleeve. Couldn't even find a sick picture for the insert. Waste of money.

Sound could’ve been good, but my copy has pops and hisses and general static throughout play. It’s very noticeable on the quieter parts. I did a wet cleaning before playing.

Do not waste your money unless you want to hang it on the wall. The grey swirl vinyl is pretty, but that’s the only thing that is good about this reissue. The sound quality is terrible. First off, hissing and popping throughout. Secondly, I got a ton of whereby I had to reduce my bass to flat in order to even try to listen. Lastly, I compared to my $7 used record store vinyl PC 34987 and not even close - sounds like they pressed a poor digital copy onto crappy vinyl. I’ll be returning to Walmart.
