This is in my top 10 best sounding records. I can’t believe how good this sounds. Wow!
Throw in all audiophile record adjectives - wide, tall, dynamic, deep, etc. Records like this is why vinyl format is so much more engaging.
Thank you to the entire reissue team for giving us this. -
Ive compared and analyzed B1 of the 33 and 45 closely.
They are pretty similar sounding, the 33 just has a slight boost in the upper mids and is a bit more spread in the stereo at times, while also panning things like the guitar less, leaving it in the center.
Theres no excessive brightness or detail added, its just that the 33 is cut louder which is likely what is throwing some people off.
There will be less IGD for most on the 45, on the other hand the 33 is pressed much quieter in general.
My pick is the 33 because the mastering is more realistic and revealing I feel, plus less flipping is better. Id only go for the 45 if I wanted to avoid any IGD at all costs.

Edited 7 months agoing the chorus of satisfied listeners. One of the best sounding records I've heard. Even better than the 2xLP 1995 Kind of Blue repressing.

Incredible reissue. A couple of light clicks here and there, but otherwise no surface noise, extremely detailed, big dynamics. Sounds great on my entry level system.

Wonderful reissue! Awesome album that sounds fantastic on vinyl! The packaging is superb as well! I highly recommend this pressing! ✌️

My copy came lightly warped but besides that an absolutely fantastic pressing. Dead silent with great separation between the instruments. Sounds so damn good that I finally understand this album haha
