Lovely pressing. Dead quiet, excellent clarity and balance throughout. Vocals are so clear... I'm really enjoying this one.

was looking for the Moving Pictures album in vinyl version . Saw my local record store have the new 2022 version https://discogs.sitiosdesbloqueados.info/release/22869272-Rush-Moving-Pictures but im not really a fan of remastered so i got this japan pressing without the obi . I can say , I'm amazed by the mastering . The low freq does have a great depth and the clarity is there . No regrets , will get the OBI if i come across or else no worries . Recommended pressing

Edited 2 years agoI got this copy that I bought it few weeks ago new, was not sealed but the vinyl was so clean and honestly sounds terrific, I play the album every Saturday, terrific sound.....

I picked this Japanese pres along with a copy of the 1981 US Presswell pressing, Bob Ludwig “RL” edition. Comparing the two, this Japanese pressing absolutely smashes that Presswell pressing. The clean clarity of the vocals and instruments in this Japanese pressing is unbelievable and the best I’ve heard this album. Hearing, literally feeling Peart hitting the drums so hard like I’ve never heard before on any copy of this album.
The ‘81 version mentioned above along with the 2019 and 2022 40th anniversary all sound good, but if you want the absolute best, this Japanese pressing is what you want. -
Have to agree with the sentiments below, this pressing is absolutely stunning. Really great dynamic range

Absolutely amazing copy, among the handfull of pressings that I have from this album this is, by far, the best one!
