the quality of this pressing is amazing, this is a must for every collector, I'm very happy with this vinyl.

It may be a case of luck-of-the-draw but from my experience, AVOID AT ALL COST! I recently purchased this from a vendor at a record show. As someone else mentioned, even the packaging was a bad idea. The inner sleeve has a vinyl element that causes static. I could feel the static generate on my hands when I first removed the record. The record itself has scuff marks from the factory. It pops and crackles like a bowl of Rice Krispies. It also skips. I couldn't make it through five minutes on the A side before taking it off the platter. Yes, I cleaned it beforehand. Yes, I used the static gun. Money wasted.

Edited one year agoa must own record for any collector! mine seems fine (Variant 3) well rounded sound, mostly quiet throughout, slight pop here and there but nothing a good clean may prevent. solid pressing worth the dosh.

Edited 2 years agoDefinitely luck of the draw. I have zero pops and clicks. Dead silent. Sounds pretty good to me, but this is the 2009 mix.

Interesting to hear others have quality issues too - I thought I just had a very bad luck. There is a very loud pop on my copy. I did not expect that from a brand new disc. Fortunately I can get mp3's for less without ear-hurting pops. :)

Don’t despair, I’m sure in 2023 there will be a 50th Anniversary super pressing and big fat box set. All will be corrected!😂🤣😅

My copy is directly to throw away. There is not the slightest interest in building this business respecting the buyer who buys new copies to avoid these clicks and pops problems.

The czec pressings usually arrive with pops and clicks. Advice would be to use a vinyl cleaner and a lintless cloth. The sound from the pressing after doing this will be much better. Having said that, I have no problem with this one. It sounds perfect.
