Even with a scuffed disc the phenomenal mastering shines through. No notes, this record is incredible. -
A bass heavy, multi layered horn-funk-groove-jam w/ percussion driven afro-rhythms from an early jazz-funk period K&TG (w/ a bit of sneaky subtle disco thrown in) that could knock a party into full swing. Enjoyable colourful bold upbeat-ness grooves & plenty of chanting, scatting & shouting that only enhances the tribalist religious atmosphere. An album that has been sampled by countless hip-hop acts. You have to love that beautiful afro-centric cover art.
