I also have the original EU copy cut by Chris Bellman. I noticed the sides 3 and 4 of this HMV variant are recut by an optimal media mastering engineer so do not have the cB in the deadwax. However sides 1 and 2 are cB cut like the original.

Plays flawlessly and great packaging. The White vinyl's look really nice but can get a few faint blue smudges on them from the centre labels. Works really well dynamically as well, you can really home in on individual aspects which is what you love too see in represses like this. Could use more artwork though, like what the deluxe edition has, I would say that it's worth picking up this one, especially for big fans of QOTSA. Rating:8 out of 10
