I can't get over how good of a press this is. I've never heard music like Hiatus Kaiyote's ever sounding this good on vinyl.

Such a bummer, this sounds terrible to me. Muffled and flat. I was so excited to listen to this on wax, sigh.

Noise floor on this pressing is way too high; to the detriment of softer portions of the recordings. -

Edited 3 years agoI'm not a fan of glow-vinyl. All the records I tried by different artists have some crackly noise too loud to ignore throughout the pressings. It glows nicely for several minutes, though. The black/red-pressing I listened to sounds way cleaner, but the great cover-design is reduced on that version. Oh well....

Also comes with six laminated polaroid photos. Hope the glow in the dark really works! I absolutely adore Hiatus Kaiyote and am so glad they put this album out. It's certainly more moody and intimate than Choose... was.
