Jazz, funk, soul as a genre? I don’t reckon that quite describes blistering psychedelic desert blues accurately. -
Edited 3 years agoSuch a vibrant band but I feel this vinyl holds the album back. The sound is compressed, the soundstage is narrow. Not sure what was the source and how they cut the master but certainly one of those rare times when I prefer digital to vinyl.

Wow! I am impressed. Have been watching and listening to Mdou Moctar for some time. This is my first vinyl album purchase and it is impressive. Very nice production and gatefold album.
