A UK first pressing will have the big hatter on the beige label . The matrix will be A1 , B2 , and there will be Porky ( a ) , and Pecko ( b ) on either side .
This is the one to look for , as the sound shimmers .
No other supposedly first UK pressing d here comes close in sound .
Get a genuine first press . -

Attention to everyone buying this: the majority of the listings ARE NOT referring to this version (Thick cardboard inner SLEEVE) so Ask Always before buying. Sellers are listing here also different edition of the same vinyl, in fact this particular edition Is very rare and Always sold for Min. 150/200€.

Here is one I can't seem to identify on Discogs.
I just picked up an American copy on Charisma with Exclusively distributed by BUDDAH on the label. Label states SW-95618. Sleeve is FC6060 Sold under license from Atlantic Recording Corporation. I've only ever seen Atlantic listed on the bottom of the label for SEBTP.
The best part is that the label lists the band as GENSIS. Sounds great. -
My copy is a large head label, "Printed by James Upton Ltd., london" rear cover, CAS1074 A-4U etched runout record, with a crossed out no. before the 4. Seams to be one of the record variants of https://discogs.sitiosdesbloqueados.info/Genesis-Selling-England-By-The-Pound/release/4431766
with the cover from
https://discogs.sitiosdesbloqueados.info/Genesis-Selling-England-By-The-Pound/release/2101965
I've been through all the listings and can't find this combination. Any guidance welcome. -
There is also another version of the Genlpy 4 - mine, that was printed in 2008. Do not understand how to add this release.
