Anyone else feel that Ride the Sky intro sounds suspiciously like Led Zep's Immigrant Song intro? Seems both were recorded the same year. Serendipity or was Led Zeppelin sponging Lucifer's Friend (as they had the habit of doing many times)?

It's actually mental that this came out 9 years prior to Black Sabbath's Heaven and Hell (similar style) and in the same year as Black Sabbath's debut...... feel like that's a bigger deal than people realize.

As far as early heavy metal goes, you had the Zep, the Sabbath, the Heep, the Purple - and, you had this, unnoticed at the time & one of the most unheralded masterpieces of all.......
