ive got 2 originals that are both really clean looking overall but both exhibit quite a bit of groove wear/distortion. starting to wonder if its even possible to obtain a copy of this that wasnt overplayed on a crazy german hippie's shitty turntable with coins on the plastic headshell.

I can not improve on what Euphonics summed up perfectly. One of the best KR releases period. I am lucky enough to have an absolutely stellar 1st pressing that has been in my collection for years. I have it digitally now and one day I shall release the vinyl to some one who will hopefully cherish it as much as I have.

Truly one of the greatest psychedelic behemoths of all time. Sometimes you realize an album gets weaker as you grow out of teenage naïvety. Riffs you thought were the meanest lose their punch. Concepts that used to keep you up all night gain a layer of malaise. Stuff you thought was cutting edge sounds dull and ineffectual.
But this, my friends, is not one of those albums. The smoke has not lost its potency. Every time I return to it, I'm sixteen again. The music has cemented itself into a position of legend for all times. It bores holes straight into your brain. Easily 'Top Ten' material. So heavy, so unique, so fierce and uncompromising. It will break you into oblivion, and shoot you towards the stars. -
here are many counterfeits in circulation, check the matrix/runout, many have no entries there. Are often offered on record fairs.

I was just wondering is it possible for this version to have the matrices etched instead of stamped? Thanks
