Glass Animals – Dreamland

Sound quality is pretty solid! Very happy with it. My pressing has a bit of a peculiarity though... I have the blue pressing with this matching barcode, but the runouts match the runouts from the glow in the dark variation. Does anyone else have this?

What a neat little gem of a record. Glass Animals does a great job of mixing the alternative pop with hip hop beats and trippy synth. The thump on some parts of this record may surprise you, especially if you aren’t too familiar with their work. We found this pressing to be quite clean and clear and a solid listen.

Side A sounds great but Side B is noticeably quieter for some reason.

some minor surface nice sporadically, mastering is good but a little quiet. Overall a solid sounding pressing.

Nice pressing, plays great and sounds awesome. I don’t know if it’s just me but it seems quieter than the Zaba pressing. I played them back to back and found myself turning the gain up on this one. Regardless it’s nice

I received two copies of this and both were faulty, one was pressed off-centre, the other was really noisy in the right channel and in the quiet parts of the album was intolerable (when played on three different turntables). My record store (after already replacing the two) tried two more blue copies on their deck straight out of the plastic and both of them had pressing issues too. I ended up just going with the standard black and it sounds awesome, only a touch of noise here and there but a stark contrast from the blue. I clean all my records with a pro vacuum record cleaner so it was not that they were dirty. This also isn't a prejudiced post about coloured vinyl as I very rarely have issues with modern coloured vinyl.

So it appears that there may be problems with part of the run for this as from the comments some people haven't had an issue, but as usual I do wonder what the copies are being played on in contrasting reviews. I recently discovered how many Crosley and Victrola decks there are out there...

Amazing record! Mine even came with two of the lyrics fold outs so I can put one on my wall as a poster! Did anyone else get 2 or was mine just an accident?

No problems here. Flat press, Dynamic, Clean... just a great sounding record.

Sounds pretty good but warped :( anyone else get a warped record ?
